KINCA is the district's own community charity. Run by local volunteers, it looks after the streets, river banks and green spaces of Kelham Island and Neepsend, and acts as the link between residents, businesses and Sheffield City Council.
It's behind a lot of what makes the area feel looked after, from community litter picks and graffiti removal to river monitoring, beekeeping and the Kelham Pride celebrations. It also keeps residents in the loop on local plans through its newsletter, The Islander.
