About The Fat Cat

The Fat Cat broke free from the big breweries in 1981, and has pulled nearly 8,000 different real ales ever since. Built as a coaching inn in 1850, the pub's original layout — two downstairs rooms, a small central bar, mosaic doorway — is largely unchanged. The Kelham Island Brewery sits next door. A great beer garden, solid food and the famous Jarvis Cocker mural on the outside wall complete the picture.
