About Merchants House

Merchants House opened in January 2025 inside Merchants Court — a 19th-century industrial building on Mowbray Street that once housed Caledonia Steel and File Works. The venue champions Sheffield and its local artists, with a large Sheffield mural as its centrepiece. Space for up to 500 across a bar, kitchen and events space overlooking the original cobbled courtyard. Summer barbecues with live music, private hire, and regular events throughout the year.
